Join our expert docents to learn about Chicago’s world famous architecture, as well as the history of our boat with Chicago and it’s Fire Department. Our boat also serves as a floating museum showcasing photographs of the boat in action, firefighting artifacts, and giving a glimpse of what is was like to be a firefighter stationed on the boat. We’ll see how Chicago’s landscape along the river has developed over time, going from stockyards to steakhouses, and bringing millions of tourists to a once desolated area which is now thriving.
Our guided river historical tours depart from the North End (River Side) of DuSable Harbor, just at the Lake Shore Drive bridge.
