Chicago Boat Tour (2) 2

Historical & Architectural Lake & River Tour (Weekday)

Join our expert docents to learn about Chicago’s world famous architecture, as well as the history of our boat with Chicago and it’s Fire Department. Our boat also serves as a floating museum showcasing photographs of the boat in action, firefighting artifacts, and giving a glimpse of what is was like to be a firefighter stationed on the boat. We’ll see how Chicago’s landscape along the river has developed over time, going from stockyards to steakhouses, and bringing millions of tourists to a once desolated area which is now thriving. Our guided lake and river historical tours depart from DuSable Harbor at 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 6:00 pm. They are underway for 90 to 150 minutes, depending on the schedule of the Chicago locks.
